Hiroshi Motoda's Lecture:

Title: Artificial Intelligence Research in the era of Data Science - Challenge and Recent Advancement

Abstract: Research on AI that started in 1950s has changed its main stream into machine learning and data mining, and has now grown to a scientific discipline called "Data Science". We have to think both positive and negative aspects of data science. I will address my own view of AI and various challenges, specially in the context of data science, and will introduce recent advancements of related research.
