On August 19th, 2013, Prof. Chong Chi Tat – Director of Institute for Mathematical Science at the National University of Singapore visited VIASM.

This was his first visit to the Institute. Managing Director Prof. Lê Tuấn Hoa, Deputy Director Dr. Nguyễn Thị Lê Hương and Secretary of Scientific Council Prof. Nguyễn Hữu Dư welcomed him.

During this visit, both sides have discussed about opportunities and plans for collaboration between the two Institutes in the near future. Prof. Chong Chi Tat toured around and had good impressions about the working conditions of VIASM.

He returned to Singapore on August 20th, 2013.
