On June 30, 2014, Professor Hyungju Park – Department of Mathematics, Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Director of Center for Applications of Mathematical Principles (CAMP), South Korea National Institute for Mathematical Sciences (NIMS) – visited VIASM.

Professor Park is also the chairman of Organizing Committee of International Congress of Mathematics (ICM) 2014 which will be held in Seoul, South Korea in this August.

VIASM Deputy Director – Dr Nguyen Thi Le Huong welcomed Professor Park and both sides had a discussion on possibilities of cooperation between the two Institutes in term of scientific exchanges.

Both Institutes urged to have specific activities of collaboration starting right from 2014.
