Matthias Hieber works at the Department of Mathematics at TU Darmstadt, Germany, leading there the research group of Applied Analysis. His field of research are Fluid Dynamics, PDEs, Harmonic Analysis and Evolution Equations. Since 2020 he serves as Vice-Director of the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut at Oberwolfach (MFO).
