Let $R$ be a polynomial ring over a field $k$, with a finite number of variables. We suppose that $R$ is multi-graded, and we consider an homogeneous ideal $I\subset R$. We also suppose that $A\rightarrow R/I$ is a Noether normalization. As we know $A$ is a polynomial ring and $R/I$ is a finitely generated $A-$module.

In this lecture we study $R/I$ like $A$-module, we will show that many properties of $R/I$ can "easily " be read by using this point of view. We will consider Toric varieties, in particular the case of monomial curves studied with N.T. Dung and the case simplicial toric varieties of dimension 2 studied with Bermejo, Ignacio Garcia, Eva Garcia-Llorente. I will consider several non trivial examples.
