Description:

Coding Theory has grown into an important subject that intersects various scientific disciplines, such as mathematics, electrical engineering, physics, biology, communication, and computer science, for the purpose of designing efficient and reliable data transmission methods. This workshop aims to introduce basics of coding theory and related concepts, to senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and interested mathematicians in Vietnam, Southeast Asia, India, and other countries in Asia. It will also present to the audiences many applications of coding theory, including in cryptography (code-based cryptography), DNA computing (DNA codes), quantum computation (quantum error-correcting codes).

Language: English and Vietnamese.

Participants: Professors, graduate students, and undergraduate students who have an interest in Math.

Deadline for registration: June 30, 2022
