IACR-VIASM Summer School on Cryptography 2026

Time:

Venue/Location: Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM), 161 Huynh Thuc Khang Street, Lang Ward, Hanoi.

Objective 

We aim to promote cryptography research in Vietnam and neighboring countries, by organizing schools every 4 or 5 years, while continuing the success of cryptography events such as VietCrypt 2006, IACR ASIACRYPT 2016, IACR-SEAMS School 2016, IACR-VIASM Summer School 2022, and most recently ACM ASIACCS 2025 (with a 2-day satellite cryptography mini-school Young Cryptographers Forum). The growing presence of cryptography as a meeting point between mathematics and computer science provides a great opportunity to develop the research interest within the community of both mathematicians and computer scientists, including Vietnamese students and researchers. An imminent consequence will be to foster further collaboration with the international cryptographic community.

The school is mostly addressed to advanced undergraduate and master/PhD students in Vietnam and in Southeast Asian countries, but students from all around the world are also welcome, as the lectures will be given in English.
