We study the existence and finite-time attractivity of solutions for semilinear fractional differential equations, in which the nonlinearity has a superlinear growth. We obtain the results by employing the fractional resolvent theory and deriving local estimates of solutions. An application to semilinear subdiffusion equations will be shown.
