In this paper, we propose a novel approach to study finite-time stability of fractional-oder systems  (FOS) with  interval time-varying delays via Laplace transforms and LMI techniques. The advantage of our proposed method is that we can construct a simple Lyapunov functional to derive delay-dependent stability conditions for the systems with interval time-varying delay. The conditions are presented in terms of the Mittag-Leffler function and linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which are less conservative and more easier to verify than the existing ones. The proposed method is also applicable for finite-time stability of linear uncertain time-delay FOS. A numerical example is given to show the validity and effectiveness of the proposed results.
