+ 9:00 – 10:00: lecture

+ 10:00 – 10:15: break

+ 10:15 -11:15: lecture

Afternoon: Computer Lab Session 14:00 – 16:00 at 306 D5, HUST.

Lecturer: Xavier Bressaud (Institute of Mathematics, Toulouse University)

The idea is to talk about probability tools that can be useful in statistics. It goes from conditional expectation to martingale through Markov processes (chains, particle systems, …) or Poisson processes. On the computer, we will see how to implement more or less sophisticated probabilistic models (using mostly Scilab).
