Rigidity properties of p-biharmonic maps and p-biharmonic submanifolds

Abstract :
In this talk, we give some rigidity properties of p-biharmonic map $u : (M; g) \to
(N; h)$. Firstly, we give many sufficient conditions to obtain the harmonicity of
the p-biharmonic map. Moreover, when the map u is an isometric immersion, by
assuming that the $L^{n/2}$ -norm of the sectional curvature on M is sufficiently small or if the fundamental tone of the p-biharmonic submanifold is sufficiently big, we show that it is minimal. These results can be seen as a generalization and continuation of investigations by Seo-Yun on J. Geom. Phys. (2022).
