Tóm tắt: This talk focuses on codes for b-symbol read channels. Several constructions of codes correcting synchronization errors and substitution errors will be presented. I will also present the applications of these codes in order to correct shift errors in racetrack memories and skipping errors in DNA nanopore sequencing.
