Seminar: Cotangent and Hochschild complexes of the topological E_1 - operad

Abstract: According to our recent work, the tangent category to topological operads at the operad E_1 can be identified with the category of cosimplicial spectra. Consequently, both the cotangent and Hochschild complexes of the operad E_1 can be modeled as a cosimplicial spectrum. In this talk, we shall explicitly describe these two complexes and outline how they are related through an elegant cofiber sequence.
