Statistical Network Analysis and Beyond Workshop 2026

Objective:

SNAB (Statistical Network Analysis and Beyond) 2026 is a three-day workshop from June 8-10, 2026 that brings together experts in statistical network analysis and related areas. It provides a forum for presenting cutting-edge research and fostering new collaborations across disciplines.

Prior to the main workshop, two-day short courses will be held from June 6-7, 2026, featuring lectures by Can Le (Department of Statistics, University of California, Davis) and Jiashun Jin (Department of Statistics, Carnegie Mellon University).

The short courses are designed to provide participants with an introduction to modern statistical network analysis, covering foundational models, methodological tools, and selected advanced topics. Participants will gain familiarity with key methods for modeling and inference on network data, including community detection, network regression, and cycle count statistics. The courses will also feature real data applications and recent research developments.
