UK-Vietnam Joint Meeting
Time:08:00:04/12/2023 to 17:00:08/12/2023
Venue/Location: The ICMS in Edinburgh, UK
Supporting institutions:
- ICMS, Edinburgh
- VIASM, Hanoi
Objective:
The UK-Vietnam mathematics joint meeting aims at fostering bonds and research cooperations between UK mathematicians and Vietnamese mathematicians working either in Vietnam or abroad. This comes after other milestones including the France-Vietnam joint meeting in 2014 in Hue, and the US-Vietnam joint meeting in 2019 in Quy Nhon. But as opposed to those large-scale joint meetings with hundreds of participants, the UK-VN meeting will be limited to 50 participants and aims at strengthening existing collaborations and fostering new ones. The speakers will be asked to give a presentation of their research in an accessible way to a larger audience of mathematicians.

- Phan Thi Hà Dương (F), Institute of Mathematics, Hanoi
