Workshop on Random walks on graphs and some related problems

Time:08:00:09/06/2016 to  17:00:11/06/2016

Venue/Location: Tuần Châu, Hạ Long, Quảng Ninh

Organisers: Nguyen Huu Du (VIASM, Vietnam), Phan Thi Ha Duong (Institute of Mathematics, VAST, Vietnam), Nguyen Hoang Thach (Institute of Mathematics, VAST, Vietnam).

Purpose: The aim of the workshop is to create a forum for researchers and students to exchange methods, new ideas, results and perspectives in graph theory and random walks on graphs. Furthermore we discuss on the relation between different models: Chip Firing Game, rotor router model and Random Walk. It turn out to show that many probability questions on random walk can be seen in the light of a deterministic model such as rotor routers, and is is in a strong bijection with the well known Chip Firing Game and Sand Pile Model.

Invited Speakers: Perrot Kevin (University of Aix Marseille, France), Hebrand Chloe (University of Limoges, France), Le Chi Ngoc (HUST, Vietnam), Nguyen Hoang Thach (Institute of Mathematics – VAST, Vietnam), Nguyen Huy Truong (HUST, Vietnam), Phan Thi Ha Duong (Institute of mathematics, VAST, Vietnam), Ta Duy Hoang (HUST, Vietnam), Do Xuan Thanh (Le Quy Don Technical University, Vietnam).
