The 8th Vietnamese Mathematical Conference will be held from the 10th to 14th of August, 2013 at University of Information Officers, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa.
This is the largest national mathematical conference in Vietnam as it is organized once every 5 years. There are over 900 participants in this year’s conference, divided into eight parallel sessions: Algebra – Geometry – Topology, Mathematical Analysis, Differential and Partial Differential Equations, Discrete Mathematics and Mathematical Informatics, Optimisation and Scientific Computation, Probability and Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Education and Mathematical History. The conference consists of 5 plenary lectures/talks, 45 session lectures/talks and over 250 short communications at parallel sessions.
The 7th Vietnamese National Congress of Mathematicians also will be held at the same time.
