1. Prof. Dr. Ho Tu Bao

Prof. Dr. Ho Tu Bao has been doing research and teaching for more than 40 years in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Data Mining (DM). Prof. Bao holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, a Master's and Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Paris 6, and a Doctor of Science from the University of Paris 9. Prof. Bao is the Head of the Learning Lab. Machine and Data Mining at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST, 1993-2018), Director of the Data Science Lab of the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM, since 2018). Moreover, he has presided the training programs on Data Science at JAIST (Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, 2013), John von Neumann Institute, VNU-HCM (2014), chaired and participated in the development of AI & DS program at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (2019), VNU International School (2019), Thang Long University (2020), and contributed ideas to build AI & DS programs for many universities (http:// www.jaist.ac.jp/~bao).

2. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Thi Thanh Binh

Huynh Thi Thanh Binh is Associate Professor and Vice Dean of the School of Information and Communication Technology (SoICT), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). She is Optimization Group Leader at SoICT. She is in the committee to develop Data Science and Artificial Intelligence training program.

She is member of the Technical Committee on Computer Science and Information Technology, The National Foundation for Science and Technology Development - NAFOSTED (2019-2021). Her current research interests: Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms and Optimization, Computational Intelligence, Memetic Computing, Evolutionary Multitasking. She has published more than 120 refereed academic papers. She is Associate Editor of the Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence. In the last 5 years, Assoc. Prof. Binh and her research team are one of seven research groups in the world that have devoted in the fields of Multi-task Optimization and Multi-task Evolutionary Computing. Her team won the first prize at Competition on Evolutionary Multi-task Optimization, Multi-task Single-objective Optimization (MTSOO), 2021 IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation and 2018 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence.

3. Dr. Tran Duc Quynh

Dr. Tran Duc Quynh received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Lorraine, France in 2011. He is the head of the Mechanics and Informatics Department, Dean of Faculty of Information Technology at Vietnam Academy of Agriculture Sciences, and has nearly 20 years of experience in training and research. Currently, he is the Head of the Department of Natural Science and Technology, Faculty of International Affairs, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He has working experience as a financial forecasting model developer, AI (artificial intelligence) expert for a number of companies including large foreign and domestic companies such as Worldquant, Vingroup... Besides, he has also published more than 20 scientific works in scientific journals and prestigious publishers in the world. Now, he is focusing on training and research on Optimization, Machine Learning and applications in finance, business, and transportation.

4. Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen Chau

Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen Chau graduated with a Bachelor of Information Technology in 2005 from the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and graduated with a Master and PhD in Computer Science in 2007 and 2010 from the French National School of Aeronautical Engineering (ENSMA). She has 15 years of experience in training and research. Her main research direction is machine learning, deep learning, and testing scheduling capabilities. Dr. Chau is the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department and the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of Thang Long University. Her topic of interest is developing artificial intelligence software to support decision-making in areas such as healthcare, education, and management. Currently, she is the director and senior researcher of projects using AI to screen for depression, diagnose skin diseases, pelvic disease syndromes, develop deep learning software for university training management, Enterprise employee management.

5. Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Huyen

Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Huyen received her PhD in Informatics in 2006 from Nancy I University, France. After graduating, she returned to work at the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Her main area of ​​research is Natural Language Processing. From 2012 up to now, she is one of the main members of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnamese Language and Speech Processing (VLSP) community activities, and is the President of the VLSP Club (a branch of the Vietnamese Informatics Association) for the 2020-2025 term. She has contributed in many projects to build resources and tools to analyze Vietnamese vocabulary, syntax and semantics, serving the development of the VLSP research community. Dr. Huyen has extensive experience in developing and implementing training programs in the positions of Head of Department and Vice Dean of Faculty. Currently, she holds the responsibility of Head of Informatics Department, Faculty of Mathematics - Mechanics - Informatics, University of Science.

6. PhD. Le Truong Tung

Tung got a bachelor degree in mathematics in Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia, 1980), and PhD degree in Vietnam Military Academy, 1987. He has more than 20 years experience in ICT in the army, and more than 20 years in the education field.

He was President of HCM City ICT Association, Vice President of Vietnam Association in Information Processing, Vice President of Association of Vietnamese Private Universities. He is one of the founders of FPT University.  

Now Tung is a Chairman of FPT University, General Director of FPT Education. He also is Vice President of Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges, Chairman of Vietnamese Private Universities Club, and a member of Vietnam National Committee on Education and Human Resource.

7. Prof. Dr. Le Hoai Bac

Prof. Dr. Le Hoai Bac – Teaching and researching for more than 35 years in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Soft Computing (SC), Machine Learning (ML) and Data Mining (DM). He has published more than 200 articles in areas of interest and has extensive experience in building and implementing Undergraduate and Postgraduate training programs in the field of IT. From 2009 up to now, the CDIO model has been applied to build training programs. Currently Head of Department of Computer Science - Faculty of Information Technology - University of Science, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

8. Prof. Dr. Phung Quoc Dinh

Dinh Phung is a Professor at Monash University, Australia and a Research Director of the Department of Data Science and AI in the Faculty of IT. He currently splits his time with Monash working as a Senior Principal Scientist at VinAI/Vinfast. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning, optimal transport, Bayesian and graphical models. He has published 250+ papers in these areas and application domains such as natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, digital health, cybersecurity and autism. Between 2017 - 2020, he was an AI Chief Scientist for Trusting Social - an AI Fintech company to provide Digital Identity and eKYC solutions. He currently serves as lead Editor-in-Chief for the forthcoming 3rd edition of the Encyclopaedia of Machine Learning and Data Science, an Associate Editor for the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research and was also the Finalist for Australian Museum Eureka Prize for Excellence in Data Science in 2020.
