Summary:

When mathematics is increasingly widely used for data analysis and modeling of social issues and science, to analyze carefully the application of mathematics became important.

Sometimes the greatest benefit that a mathematician gives the dissemination of knowledge about the limitations of mathematical models and analyze data - what could not do math. I will give some examples from my own experience and described the failure of the mathematical model "secure digital signature to witness".

Also, I will describe a completely different meaning in the model mathematical thinking brings enormous value to society. This stems from the theory of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and also as related to the culture of thinking and freedom repressive prejudices rather than to any direct application of mathematics to model important issues unresolved that society is facing.
