In order to develop cooperation in mathematics between French and Vietnamese communities, The France-Vietnam International Associated Laboratories (LIAFV) (in National Center for Scientific Research, France) and VIASM will support the actions described below, in particular the specific programs organized in VIASM .

In so far as these have been previously filed with and accepted by the VIASM Scientific Council, these proposals will benefit from additional support from LIAFV as long as there are:

1. a significant involvement of the French laboratories,

2. participation in the period of doctoral students, recent PhDs and young researchers.

3. the participation of members of the Vietnamese mathematical community of diverse backgrounds is desired.

LIAFV can fund flight tickets to Vietnam for participants working in France. VIASM will cover the local costs. Priority will be given to stays of at least four weeks.

VIASM reserves an office priority use of its operations.

VIASM takes this opportunity to recall that it provides post-doc opportunities for recent doctors (getting PhD within 5 years), regardless nationality.

LIAFV will continue supporting Vietnamese mathematicians for LIAFV visits or stays in France.
