Mini-course “Group cohomology and T-functor” has opened on 22 April 2014 at C2 Lecture Hall, VIASM. The course is taught by Prof. Jean Lannes, Université Paris Diderot, France, who is also a member of the research group Algebraic topology working at VIASM during April and May.
The course would be useful for those who doing research on Topology, Algebra, Geometry and Number Theory.
Prof. Jean Lannes is one of the prestigious French mathematicians in Algebraic Topology in the last 20-30 years. Most of his research life he worked in Polytechniques before moving to Université Paris Diderot.

The mini-course lasts in 4 weeks. Each week there are several lectures, each lecture is scheduled in 90 minutes. For more details on the schedule, please visit the event site.
In the first lecture there have been about 30 participants coming from different institutions. Most of the participants working on Algebraic Topology and related fields from Hanoi University of Sciences – VNU Hanoi and Institute of Mathematics – VAST.
