Mini-workshop on Local Rings and Graded Algebras is held at VIASM on August 4 and 6, 2014.

This is the place for well-known international and Vietnamese mathematicians in this field and other relevant field to give discussion on some recent aspect and the new developments in the field of local algebra and graded algebra. There are nine 50 minute invited talks, presented by some experts in this field.

The first lecture is given by Prof. B. Ulrich (Purdue University, USA) at 9 a.m and the second lecture by Prof. Ha Huy Tai (Tulane University, USA) at 10 a.m.

The mini-workshop attracted more than 40 participants, including professors, lecturers, PhD students, graduate students from different universities and institutions such as VIASM, Institute of Mathematics. Tây Bắc University, Thái Nguyên University…
