This program supports travel costs for RESEARCH visits (minimum stay is four weeks) by mathematicians based in developing and economically disadvantaged countries.

This program CANNOT support travel cost to any conference, summer school or workshops.

Individuals who receive financial support are required to:

- Submit a short scientific report and itemized financial report on the use of their travel funds within 2 weeks after the conclusion of their supported activity.

- Acknowledge the support of the International Mathematical Union in their publications.

Individuals should apply at least four months in advance. They have to be send not later than 9 weeks before departure. Applications that are send later cannot be considered.
