This year, the Annual Meeting has 50 participants. VIASM has invited highly reputed mathematicians from 3 different countries (USA, France, Singapore) to deliver lectures on central topics of contemporary mathematics.

Prof. Louis Chen (National University of Singapore)

The first lecture of this Annual Meeting is given by Prof. Louis Chen (National University of Singapore) titled “Normal Approximation by using Stein’s Method and Malliavin Calculus”. In the next sessions, participants will listen to the lectures of Prof. Vu Ha Van (Yale University, USA) about “Roots of random polynomials”, Prof. Pham Xuan Huyen (Université Paris Diderot (Paris 7), France) about “Feynman-Kac representation of fully nonlinear PDEs and applications”, Prof. Michael Vogelius (Rutgers University, USA) and Prof. Endre Szemeredi – Rutgers University, USA) about “The “absorbing” method”. After the Annual Meeting, the lectures will be collected and refereed in view of publication in a special issue of Acta Mathematica Vietnamica.
