Objective

- The Autumn School on Some Selected Topics in Applied Mathematics is organized at Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) within the framework of the scientific collaboration workshop between Ritsumeikan University and VIASM. The school aims to introduce senior undergraduate students, master’s students, and PhD students to several modern topics in applied mathematics through lectures delivered by leading researchers from Japan, Vietnam and abroad. The program focuses on contemporary developments in optimization methods, stochastic Volterra equations, and partial differential equations together with their applications in science and engineering. The event is also expected to strengthen academic exchange and foster future research collaboration between young researchers and international experts.

- The Vietnam–Japan Workshop on Applied Mathematics aims to promote academic exchange and strengthen collaboration between Vietnamese, Japanese, and international researchers in applied mathematics. The conference focuses on recent advances in probability theory, statistics, and partial differential equations, highlighting both theoretical developments and practical applications. The conference also supports early-career researchers and graduate students by offering opportunities to present their work and engage with leading experts.
