Workshop Facets of Commutative Algebra

Objective: The workshop Facets of Commutative Algebra (FoCA) aims to bring together a small group of Vietnamese mathematicians working in commutative algebra and related areas for two days of intensive discussion and scientific exchange. The workshop will focus on recent developments, emerging research directions, and open problems in commutative algebra and its interactions with algebraic geometry, combinatorics, singularity theory, computational algebra, and artificial intelligence.
A particular goal of the workshop is to support and encourage young researchers by providing them with opportunities to present their work, interact with senior mathematicians, and develop new collaborations. Priority will therefore be given to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career researchers. The format of the workshop emphasizes informal discussions and research interactions in addition to invited lectures, with the aim of strengthening the commutative algebra community in Vietnam and fostering future joint research projects.
