We discuss about the epidemic processes in complex networks. Detailing the successful theoretical approaches as well as making their limits and assumptions are cleared.  We study about the way epidemic spreading on a large, dynamic graph, focus on the main results and the  paradigmatic models in infectious disease modeling. We also outline the challenges, the concerned problems in the study of epidemic spreading in static or co-evolving, coupled and time-varying networks.
