Tóm tắt: This report presents the mathematical foundations of quantum error-correcting codes. We provide a brief introduction to Hilbert space, the mathematical framework underlying quantum systems, and explain how qubits, the fundamental units of quantum information, are represented in Hilbert space. Additionally, the report covers quantum information theory and the construction of quantum codes that are derived from classical codes. This foundational knowledge is essential for constructing quantum codes that protect quantum information from decoherence and quantum errors.
