OLIVIER DUDAS, Paris Diderot University, France

Olivier Dudas is a Chargé de Recherche (Research Fellow) at the CNRS. He is currently working at the University of Paris and the Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu - Paris Rive Gauche (IMJ-PRG).

MARTIN LIEBECK, Imperial College London, UK

Martin grew up in the UK, and received his doctorate at the University of Oxford, after which he held research fellowships in Cardiff and Cambridge, before moving on to Imperial College London. He has been a professor at Imperial since 1991, and Head of Pure Mathematics there since 1997. Martin has published over 150 articles and books on finite and algebraic groups, representation theory, probabilistic group theory, and applications of these topics to areas such as model theory in logic, Markov theory in probability, combinatorics, and the design of algorithms in computational algebra.
Martin is a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society, and was the recipient of the London Mathematical Society’s Polya Prize in 2020.

GABRIEL NAVARRO, University of Valencia, Spain

Gabriel Navarro is a specialist in Character Theory of Finite Groups, where he has contributed to fundamental advances in the resolution of several important problems.
In 2011 he was awarded First Distinguished European Mathematical Society Speaker by the European Mathematical Society. In 2015 he was named Fellow of the American Mathematical Society. In 2015, he was named member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences.

He has published more than 200 papers, and several books on Representation Theory.
He has been main speaker in many conferences, such as in honor of J. Conway (Princeton), of M. Collins (Oxford University) or the 2019 Clay Conference in Oxford.

Gabriel Navarro is advisor of the European Research Council, Guggenheim Foundation, Cambridge University Press, Springer, Addison-Wesley, National Security Agency, EPSRC (UK), International Congress of Mathematicians (Madrid), etc.

Gabriel Navarro has been a researcher in the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute MSRI of Berkeley for several semesters; Visiting Professor of the University of Wisconsin-Madison; coorganizer of a semester in MSRI; or several meetings in Oberwolfach and Banff. He was best student of Mathematics in SPAIN, 1982-1987, and Fulbright postdoc in Berkeley and Madison.

JAY TAYLOR, University of Manchester, UK

Dr. Jay Taylor is currently a Neumann Fellow at the University of Manchester. Before this he held the following posts:

Assistant Professor (RTPC) at the University of Southern California,
Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Arizona,
Marie Curie fellow of the Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica based at the Università degli Studi di Padova,
Postdoctoral researcher at the EPFL as part of the working group of Donna Testerman,
Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the TU Kaiserslautern as part of the working group of Gunter Malle.

He completed his PhD at the University of Aberdeen, in the department of Mathematics. He started in October 2008 and finished in April 2012 under the supervision of Meinolf Geck. The focus of his PhD was on unipotent supports for ordinary characters of finite reductive groups with a disconnected centre.

Dr. Taylor finished his first degree at the University of York, where he was supervised by Stephen Donkin for his MMath project. It was in this supervision period that he was first introduced to the theory of algebraic groups.
