Chérif's research work is essentially devoted to partial differential equations, with an opening towards questions of harmonic analysis and potential theory for a good understanding of certain problems posed in unbounded domains such as exterior domain, half-space, perturbed half-space , whole space. Some of his main research topics include elliptic and parabolic problems in bounded domains, elliptic and parabolic problems in unbounded domains, harmonic analysis and Sobolev spaces with weights, linear elasticity.
