1. Prof. Pham Chi Vinh, VNU University of1 Science, Hanoi
Pham Chi Vinh received his PhD from VNU University of Science in 1986 and has been professor at HUS since 2015. He is the head of the department of Mechanics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Mechanics, and Informatics at the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. His main research areas are wave’s propagation and homogenization.
2. Prof. Julius Kaplunov, Keele University, UK
Julius Kaplunov was awarded his PhD and DSc in Theoretical Solid Mechanics by the Institute for Problems in Mechanics at the Russian Academy of Sciences. He was affiliated with this institution until 2000, when he joined Manchester University. In 2005 he moved to Brunel University where he spent seven years before coming to Keele in 2012. He has also held several visiting positions all over the world, including the University of Alberta, Bordeaux University, City University of Hong-Kong, Technical University of Munich, and Tel-Aviv University.
3. Assoc. Prof. Tran Thanh Tuan, VNU University of Science, Hanoi
Tran Thanh Tuan graduated from VNU Hanoi University of Science (HUS) in 2002 and received his PhD from Friedlich-Schiller University Jena, Germany in 2009. His main research areas are wave’s propagation and seismology. He is currently working at the Faculty of Mathematics, Mechanics, and Informatics at the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Since 2020, he has been an assistant professor at HUS.
4. Dr. Phan Hai Dang, VNU University of Engineering and Technology
Phan Hai Dang graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2005 and received his PhD from Pusan National University, Korea in 2013. His main research areas are wave’s propagation and ultrasonic waves in bone structure. He is currently working at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
5. Dr. Pham Thi Ha Giang, Hanoi Architectural University
Pham Ha Giang graduated from VNU Hanoi University of Science in 2009 and received her PhD in 2017. Her main research areas are wave’s propagation and complex function methods. She is currently working at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Hanoi Architectural University, Hanoi.
6. Dr. Duong Thi Thanh Tam, Institute of Mechanics
Duong Thi Thanh Tam graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from VNU Hanoi University of Science in 2017 and received her Diploma degree at ICTP in 2019. Her main research areas are wave’s propagation, seismology and multi-phase flows. She is currently working at the Institute of Mechanics and is a PhD student at Phenikaa University.
