This is the first time the International Workshop on Probability Theory and Related Fields is held. The aim of the workshop is to bring new mathematical studies of research groups in Vietnam and Japan. Furthermore, it is a venue to exchange ideas and to conduct new collaborations between researchers in the two countries.
This time we invite sixteen speakers from five universities in Japan and six universities in Vietnam. Almost talks are in fifty minutes except four talks of young mathematicians in twenty minutes. The topics include both pure and applied mathematics, say probability theory and stochastic processes, stochastic partial differential equations or abstract stochastic evolution equations, and mathematical models for diseases, communication networks, swarm behaviors, tsunami evacuation, and species populations.
The organizers would like to thank VIASM for supporting the workshop. The workshop will be held for the second time in the future.
